Strengthening Cooperation in the Defense Industry between Greece and Cyprus
A productive and forward-looking day at the EDIP Info Day Greece-Cyprus Industry Day, organised by the General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence at the Armed Forces Officers’ Club in Athens.
eBOS Technologies was represented by our Chief R&D Officer, Dr. Loizos Christofi, who also led the delegation of CyDSIC (Cyprus Defence and Space Industry Cluster) in his capacity as President, together with members of the CyDSIC Board and member companies. He took part in the B2B meetings between Greek and Cypriot companies, exploring concrete areas for cooperation under the European Defence Industry Programme and reinforcing the role of Cypriot industry within the European defence ecosystem.
The discussions highlighted the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the Greek and Cypriot defence industries, building on the long-standing ties between the two countries and the complementary capabilities of their industrial ecosystems. Particular emphasis was placed on joint initiatives, industrial partnerships and cross-border value chains that can fully leverage the opportunities created by EDIP and the wider European defence initiatives.
